We are Many - Only the Unloved Hate

In memory of SSG Lilian Clemons.  For your family, and for your son who looked me in the eyes and asked me if your death was right.  For which I found no words to respond truthfully, so I went to find the truth.  We can only bring about peace by being peace and not fighting for it.  You didn't die in vain, you changed my life.

"And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am"
-Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls

Alone, I am just one.  Together, we are the voices of many.  We outnumber them.

How often we try to convey to others the folly of an age...when the hearts of humanity bleeds with pain, and many it is because not all of us feel the same way...which is a good thing. It is good to have all of our perspectives without one being more important or correct than another.

However, what I do ever so notice...are those people that just have a tendency to touch other people and encourage the discovery of so much. Those lights of joy in dark periods that seem like walking miracles.

To say, perhaps it is indeed dark out there...but this too will pass. Tyranny does die...and we can choose to grow in a different direction not being afraid to think or feel for ourselves.

For all of the teachers we encounter in life...to thank them.

but unlike mother Theresa, I do not want your money...just do something when you know you should...when it is neither easy nor hard. When it simply means the difference in a life. It's simple when it is real and hard, when it is fake.
